Eric Pearson was born August 31, 1966 in Orange
NJ to the parents of Robert and Queen Pearson.
He is a product of the Orange Public School
System. As a youth Eric was an Eagle Flight
Military Aviation Precision Drill Team Explorer
Post 290. He graduated from Orange High School
in 1984. He furthered his education at Upper
Iowa University on a Football Scholarship.
Returning to New Jersey he became employed at
Suburban
Cable now known as Comcast.
Residing in South Jersey, Eric is a devoted
husband to his loving wife Donna of nineteen
years. He is a role model for their two sons
Eric Qwentan and Diondre Elisha. He is a mentor
for the youth as a volunteer football coach for
Mansfield Township Recreation in Columbus, NJ.
In August of 1998, Eric joined the Roselle Fire
Department. He is known and respected for his
knowledge and expertise gained over the years as
a Fire Fighter. He has a thorough understanding
of all aspects of fire fighting. Eric is not
only a Fire
Fighter/EMT but an Arson Investigator, Fire
Inspector, Juvenile Fire Setter Counselor and
CPR/First Aid Instructor. His extensive
experience was gained through participation as
Delegate in the FMBA Local 55 and attending
various courses where he retains
numerous certifications.
Eric is continually trying to further his career
by taking the promotional exams. Over the past
nine years he has taken the exam three times and
has successfully passed ranking in the top
three. He is currently number one on the list to
be promoted to first grade lieutenant/captain.
Eric has the following qualifications 2nd Due
Operation, Tower/Ladder Truck Operation and 1st
Due Pump Operator/Driver. He has received the
following
honors 2 CPR Saves, Emergency Child Birth Award
and Fire Fighter of the Year Accommodation.
